I decided to do @leesa_pole_aerial_fitness ‘s 8 week fitness challenge at the start of November. I wasn’t really looking to “lean down” or “get toned” from this, but I knew my diet was hot garbage and wanted to see how changing what I eat would do for my body and energy levels.

I will be the first to admit that I was so bad at keeping up with the strength workouts ( I averaged 4 per week instead of 6 and didn’t do much cardio in the 2nd month) but this challenge taught me a LOT about how what I eat changes how I feel. I n a regular day Id eat almost no protein (thinking I was eating protein through foods like quinoa and beans… but no), and after switching to ” much more” I noticed significant gains in my training, where before it felt like I was putting all this work in with no progress. I also saw more rapid progress in my handstand strength and control, as well as my contortion abilities improving significantly, and a decrease in my chronic light headedness! Also, my natural posture has improved significantly because those muscles are more used to being “on” now. I will also admit that I totally fell off at Christmas, but its ok. Im still happy with all the things Ive learned and Im hoping to continue to eat to fuel my body (rather than to fuel my need for greasy food lol) in the future.

I lost 20 lbs total during this 8 week challenge which was a very exciting accomplishment! I really benefited from the organization and structure of Lisa’s nutrition plan and fitness exercises. Lisa was so helpful at supporting everyone in the group and helping us stay on track. She personally helped me to figure out how to fit in my cardio and weight exercises into my busy day (i.e., juggling a full time work schedule and pole dance classes). I was able to incrementally build up my strength and achieve my chopper invert, which has been a long-term pole dream move! I’ve learned so much from Lisa and look forward to continuing my fitness and nutrition journey!

At the end of the year I felt like a blimp.  Was eating terrible things that were not good for my body I was over eating under eating and all that caught up after a while.  I decided to stop that once for all and since I am in a perimenopause I wanted to take control of  it all.  I started Lisa’s 8week challenge and I have learned so much in the past two months. My eating habits have improved I now know how much and what to eat to nourishing my body properly.  Exercising and strength straining were very hard at first but as the time passed by I was increasing my weights, resistance and reps. After 2 months I have lost 16lb and shredded many inches all over my body feel great I made the life style change that will be with me for a long time.  If you are struggling I highly recommend any of the Lisa programs you will see the results if you put in the work. I just completed the 8 Week Fitness Challenge with Elisabeth. I joined because I was feeling sluggish, tired, and deflated.My goal was to gain energy and maybe lose a few pounds. The results were EXTRAORDINARY. From the beginning, I felt a strong sense of community, support, and guidance. The exercises were short and simple to follow with exercise equipment that I already had at home. The meal planning was the best part, though. There were no crazy restrictions or complex meals to prepare. I followed a few simple directions and made some small adjustments to my meals. Elisabeth answered all my questions about the meals and exercises and encouraged me along the way. As a solo working mom, I felt someone finally cared enough to look at me and say, You’re worth it! I lost 16 lbs in 8 weeks, my energy went through the roof, my skin is all cleared up and I am a happier person. I will build on what I learned from Elisabeth and will definitely join her challenge again! _ Joanna

When I started on this program I didn’t expect to get the results I have so quickly. So far I’ve lost 14lbs in 4 weeks and that doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

 It’s difficult to get all the food and exercise in to my day but when I see results like this it’s totally worth the hard work. 

Lisa has been extremely supportive throughout the challenge and has put together a great program that has taught me things I can take forward into life once the 8 weeks is up. I haven’t been this happy with my body in years and I’m only halfway through the program. Super excited to see what the next 4 weeks has in store for me.
